HOME

There is no other place like home. A saying that indeed have a great weight of truthfulness.

I am home, back in Jakarta, meeting my lovely parents and siblings and family members.

Though Jakarta traffic fiercely welcoming me with hundreds of cars on the road, not to say the dare devil motorbike rider, I still feel the warmness of my country capitalcity, I feel that, I know that, I am home.

It is a great feeling to be back. I guess that's how the feeling of the lost son who came back to his father after realising his mistake.

A great feeling to be back, to be accepted as who we are. A feeling of being home.

"Home is where your heart is"

I guess Jesus used the Lost Son parable to allow us to better understand the feeling of being accepted at home. The only place that accepts us as who we are. A place where father's love resides, memoried created. A place where we always belong and laughter never ends.

I guess that is what Jesus want to tell us. That, in Him and with Him, we are home.

Thanks for today Lord, thanks for my home.

John 14:23 "Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them."
