ABOUT BALANCE

Proverbs 11:1 ESV - A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is his delight

I believe in everything that we do in life, there is always an element of balance.

In what we eat, we speak about the balance of protein, carbo, etc

In raising a child, a balance of discipline and freedom.

In a relationship, a balance of give and take.

At work, a balance of respect and result. Especially in my role, a balance of the organization need and employee's need.

Sometimes it is easier to say than do, most of the time I guess but I am reminded by His words:

Proverbs 16:11 ESV - A just balance and scales are the Lord's; all the weights in the bag are his work

He is the Lord of balance and scales. To seek for Him is to find the right balance.

Seek and you will find, He said.

Ah, another day full of blessing.
