#Day 98: 07 April 2016
LESS SUGAR
(Be truthful in your words)
Psalm 120:2 ESV - "Deliver me, O Lord, from lying lips, from a deceitful tongue"
How many times in our life that we add "sugar" to our conversation, our story or our sharing, with the intention to spice up the story hence stir up more attention, making us looks good.
Similar like Malaysia "Teh Ping", a lot of time we ask for "Less Sugar" as we know the negative impact of having too much sugar for our health.
The same as "too much sugar" on our words, ot may not be healthy for our soul. Actually, those are the roots of lying.
In Colossians 3:9, the apostle Paul said, “Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds.”
The word “lie” carries the idea of any type of falsehood. It can picture a person who projects a false image of himself; someone who deliberately walks in a pretense that is untrue; purposely adding 'sugar' to the facts.
Let us be truthful on what we say or do. Be truthful to ourselves and others. Let us put less sugar on our words, the same as in our coffee or tea.
Another day full of blessing
