SPEED-FRIENDING

Another day full of blessing. I am happy that I have the opportunity to help the youth in plannning their team building, the ISCF team building.

We talk, we share, we laugh but we all have a same goal which is to work together to find the best team building approach that allows all participant to have their opportunity to know each others.

We managed to form the framework and one of the idea came from a speed dating which I think it will be rename as Speed-Friending :)

I won't spoil the fun hy sharing it here.

But I like the idea of making new friends. Two are better than one. I need someone to help me to be a better man.

"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up" - Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

Sometimes we take things for granted, we take our friend helps for granted. Sometimes we forgot they are there to help us, and to give us the opportunity to help others

What did Jesus say about friendship?

John 15:12-15 “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you"

And how we need to treat our friends?

Colossians 3:12-14 - "Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony."

I pray that the youth idea for the team building is succesful and everyone can quickly know each other, find their new friends. I think the Speed-Friending will be fun.
