SEEING CLEARLY

We don’t yet see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us! - 1 Corinthians 13:12 MSG

I went to collect my new specs today. After several considerations I decided to buy a new specs. Instead of just a reading glasses, following advises from friends and colleagues, I decided to get the multi focus lense hence I can wear the specs on every occassions.

And it works perfectly fine. With the anti UV lenses, it helps my eyes to see clearly and it also protects the eyes from the blue light of laptop, handphones and even the television.

The specs is like a lamp unto my feet and light for my path. It allows me to see clearly.

It is like God's word for our spiritual life, for our every decision making. We need a clear sight to help our decision making and we need the light for our spiritual path.

Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path - Psalms 119:105

I told myself I need to firm up my path, by making my sight clearer, physically with the new specs and spiritually with God's word.

I pray that I can priorities reading and reflecting on His Words on top of other activities. Focusing on what's guiding my feet and what's lighting my path.

I pray that I can see Him clearly through the daily devotion of His words. Just like I can read clearly through the new specs.
