#Day124: 03 May 2016, Tuesday

IT'S NOT ABOUT THE MONEY

(It's the commitment that counts)

Congratulation for Leicester! The 2015-2016 Champion of English Premier League!!

They have proven that wealth can not buy championship. That fame is not the key to success. That individual skills is not worth a peny unless it is used in a team. That it is not about the money, it is commitment (of the whole  team) that counts. That's what made them Champion.

A small team with prediction of 5000:1 chances of winning the title, took that glimse of chance and transform it into a historical achievement

A small team that the whole team salaries is maybe only a total of 4-5 salaries of famous players from other big teams, but transformed their guts into a non-stop winning.

A small team that have showed the world on what it means to be committed, as a team.

It is a true reflection for me, for my job, for my service. On what are the real intend of me doing my job, of me doing the serving.

Is it fame? Is it the fancy own room in office? Is it money? Or, Is it the team development, team growth?

Do I committ? Am I doing it for the sake of doing it? Only for the money? Or, am i doing it for the success of others, success of the organization, success of the people in the organization?

Am I like the member of Leicester team? Or am I focusing on what's benefiting myself.

Proverbs 16:3 says "Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established"

Indeed, it is the commitment that counts, that makes our plan established. It is our commitment to God. Just like the players, our commitment in small things for the Lord will allow us to achieve great things.

Galatians 6:9 remind us "And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up"

It is not about the money (read: own benefits), it is about our commitment to keep moving forward even when we are weary.

Let us continue to remind ourselves. Let us continue to be like Leicester players. Let us also make a history.

Remember, it is the commitment that counts! Another day full of blessing.
