MOTHER'S DAY

Exodus 20:12 - Honor your father and mother. Then you will live a long, full life in the land the LORD your God will give you.

Mother’s Day is a celebration honoring the mother of the family, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society (wikipedia)

I found this as a very meaningful day, a meaningful things to do, to celebrate and honor the role of a mother.

As Christian, we heard about the role of Mother Mary in the journey of salvation. On her immaculate conception till the day she saw Jesus was nailed and died on the cross. That is why she is the mother of all mothers.

I also remember my mom :) my hero. There are too many stories for me to share about her. Ijust wanna sums it all up by saying that she's been to hell and back, and stay strong in mountains of storm of life and successfully (with my Dad) brought up 5 boys and 1 girl.

I said SUCCESSFULLY, not because of materials but characters.

There are few legacies that will always sticks in my mind and life:

• Whatever happen, always think about others. Put other needs on top of your needs.
• Humility is everything (don't brag, don't be arrogant as there is always mountain above the mountains)
• Life is like a weels, sometimes you are up, sometimes you are down.
• Never ignore knowledge
• Buy what you need and not what you want

These advises that I am passing on to my own children.

Ah, I am proud to be her son. I am blessed to have her as my mother.
